I was born in Germany and raised in Virginia. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology while also obtaining a certification in Paralegal Studies at Marymount University. While at Marymount I volunteered on the weekends at an uncontested divorce clinic. I received my Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School. At Central, I participated in the Family and Juvenile Clinics as well as volunteered at a local elementary school on Fridays, participated in a couple of Will Clinics and prepared taxes for low-income families. I also became a Guardian ad litem volunteer to give a voice to children who otherwise would not be heard.
I have always had a passion for helping others and serving my community. I am willing to fight for my client’s rights and ensure justice is properly served. Let me fight for you and give you a voice that may have been hushed by the legal system.
When I am not fighting for my clients in court, I enjoy relaxing at home with my toy poodle, enjoying quality time with my friends and family and/or getting outside when the weather permits. In the summer you may find me out riding my bike on Tobacco Road Trail or enjoying all that Downtown Durham has to offer.
